Occupational therapy asks the question, “What is meaningful and important to you?”

For the children we work with, learning and play are the most meaningful occupations they participate in on a daily basis. A child must play in order to grow and flourish physically, cognitively, and socially. Their levels of engagement in play will affect their emotional maturity and self-confidence to try new things and explore new environments. With the help of Occupational Therapy, children can have enhanced holistic development including improved cognitive and academic skills, communication skills, regulated emotions, and well integrated gross motor, fine motor and visual perceptual skills ultimately enabling them to be independent at age appropriate tasks.
