At Arise OT Occupational Therapy, we are dedicated to helping individuals of all ages overcome challenges and enhance their daily living skills. Our personalized, client-centered approach focuses on fostering independence, confidence, and overall well-being. Whether you’re seeking support for sensory integration, fine motor development, rehabilitation, or everyday functional skills, our expert team is here to guide you on your journey to a more fulfilling life. Let’s rise together!
The Occupational Therapy journey begins with an initial interview with parents/caregivers to gather essential history and determine the best assessment approach. We offer neonatal and preterm neuro-developmental assessments and sensory profiling for all ages. For children aged one and older, we provide three assessment options:
Comprehensive Developmental Assessment (2 hrs) – A holistic evaluation using standardized measures to assess self-help skills, motor development, sensory processing, and attention.
Diagnostic Therapy Sessions – A four-session process combining therapy with diagnostic assessment (non-standardized).
School Screenings & Observations – Arranged in consultation with parents and the child’s school.
Let’s work together to support your child’s development!
After your child has been assessed, a feedback session allows us to discuss our findings with parents/caregivers and work together to set collaborative goals and plan the best way forward for your child to reach his/her full potential. A written report is compiled post feedback session and progress reports may be requested during therapy intervals (i.e. after each school term, or end of year).
At Arise Occupational Therapy, we provide personalised support for children from birth to 13 years through one-on-one therapy, group sessions, and classroom/home visits. For infants (0-18 months), we offer neonatal and preterm support, home consults, caregiver training, and Sensory Me Baby sessions. For toddlers (18 months – 6 years), our Sensory Me Link program promotes sensory development and early learning. Let’s nurture your child’s growth every step of the way!
An extra mural program run in the surrounding schools incorporating various sensory stations and obstacle courses providing maximum engagement in tactile, smell, auditory, visual and movement activities. SENSORY ME is a sensory integrative approach to play engagement that enables and empowers children aged 1 – 8 years old to engage in various multi-sensory activities and aid in not only developing their senses but also has a therapeutic approach which enables early detection should a child present with sensory challenges. The premise of SENSORY ME is to provide early intervention for sensory development to enhance a child’s ability to process and discriminate all the wonderful sensory stimuli they experience day to day. Termly reports are compiled for each participating child. Sensory Me sessions run once per week for approximately 8-9 weeks each term.
Each child receives a certificate at the end of the year and parents are welcome to sit in and observe our end of year session. To get your school involved pop us a message on the contacts tab.
